Zach and I met in, believe it or not, 6th grade. Not to say it was love at first sight, in fact in both 6th and 7th grade I don't even remember paying any attention to him, nor him to me. But in 8th grade when he "dated" one of my good friends, I realized what a great guy he was and decided that I had to marry him someday! ( I know I know, at age 13). Two years passed of me pining after him, when he finally noticed me at the end of freshman year and we began dating on May 21, 2003. We went all through highschool together, and graduated in 2006. He went off to college in Wisconsin, and I stayed in Indiana to pursue my degree. He proposed (after almost 4 years of dating) on January 21, 2007. Still very young (I was only 18, and he 19) we spent the next year planning a wedding. I also finished up my degree in early childhood education and graduated with my associates, while Zach dropped out of college to pursue what he already excelled in- real estate. On June 21, 2008 (notice a pattern of 21st's...his birthday is also December 21!) we got married in the park I had wanted to get married in since I was 5 years old.
We were supposed to get married outdoors, but is seriously POURED right around the time the ceremony started...not that it mattered too much in the end :)
Plus we got this beautiful rainbow...
And we still got to get pictures at the gazebo where we were supposed to be married!
Now we look forward to what our bright future holds!!
